The Terrence Laboratory is interested in the functional roles of non-coding RNA and RNA/protein complexes in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, and the application of RNA technology. Our current research focuses on the gene regulation of bacteria and host-microbes interaction including the small RNA-mediated gene regulation of drug resistant pathways in bacteria; adaptive mechanism of pathogens during infection; and understanding the roles of microbiome in disease models.
